Your account and contributions

Delete your data.

You can delete your Best Thing About account and its contributions from the new application's account controls. Removing the app from Google or Facebook alone does not delete content already saved by Best Thing About.

Delete from your account

  1. Open Best Thing About and sign in to the account whose data you want to remove.
  2. Choose Account in the header.
  3. Read Delete my account and contributions.
  4. Type DELETE and confirm. This action cannot be undone in the app.

This removes your account, connected provider identities, answers, supports and appreciation notes from the active app database. Existing links to those notes stop working, and the account's app sessions end. Other people's accounts and unrelated contributions remain.

If you cannot sign in

Email jc@afterimage.com.do with the subject Best Thing About data deletion. Tell us which sign-in provider and display name you used. We will arrange verification of account ownership before removing data. Do not email a password, access token, client secret or identity document.

Limits to deletion

Copies or screenshots held by recipients cannot be removed through the app. Independent access logs or operational backups may follow separate retention requirements. Contact us for details about any remaining records and applicable limits. Creating a new account later does not restore deleted answers or notes.
